JENS MUNCH PHOTOGRAPHY
Originally from Sweden, Jens studied Politics and Philosophy at Oxford before embarking on a career in journalism.

In early 2003 Jens moved to Kuwait to work as a free-lance photographer, leaving a comparatively cozy existence in New York where he worked on media-rights. In Kuwait the free-lance assignments mounted and by the invasion Jens was one of a two-man team working for the Sunday Telegraph camping out on the border with Iraq.

He worked as in Iraq as an un-embedded journalist for 4 months and afterwards moved to Beirut to continue covering the Middle East. Another period of 4 months in Iraq during early 2004 followed but was interrupted by a rapidly worsening security situation. Between 2004 and 2006 he lived in Beirut where he continued working on local stories.

Jens now lives and works in London.
